Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two ammunition depots belonging to Russian occupying forces in the Zaporizhzhia region. A Russian drone command post in the Donetsk region was also hit, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out successful strikes on enemy positions on November 5 and overnight into November 6. As a result of the Ukrainian defenders' actions, the following Russian military facilities were destroyed:

  • An ammunition depot near Melitopol (Zaporizhzhia region);

  • An ammunition depot near Khliborobne (Zaporizhzhia region);

  • A Russian drone command post near Chasiv Yar (Donetsk region);

  • A fuel and lubricants depot near Luhanske (Donetsk region).

The Ukrainian defenders emphasized that the systematic destruction of ammunition and fuel depots significantly reduces the firepower capabilities of Russian occupation forces.

In addition, the loss of such facilities significantly complicates logistics and the ongoing supply of Russian units at the front.

"Operations against key enemy military targets will continue until Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine is completely halted," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed.

Overnight on November 6, drones attacked the Afipskiy oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. A fire broke out at the facility following the strike, and thick smoke rose over the industrial area.

Also, overnight on November 5, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied territories.
