Russian forces attack Donetsk region: One person killed, search operation ongoing

The Russian army shelled settlements in the Donetsk region on April 1. One person was killed, but the number of victims may be higher, according to the Telegram channel of Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
"At least one person was killed and one injured as a result of today's shelling in the Donetsk region," said the head of the regional administration.
In Pokrovsk, a woman was killed in a Russian attack. The regional administration is currently determining the exact circumstances and consequences of the strike.
A resident of Oleksandro-Kalynove in the Illinivka community was also injured. Sixteen private houses, a store, and a warehouse were damaged there.
Additionally, there is a possibility that several people were killed in Lyman, part of the Myrnohrad community. Rescuers are currently working at the site of the Russian strike.
"The Russians hit a private house with artillery there. A search operation is ongoing at the scene," Filashkin added.
He also urged residents of the region to act responsibly and evacuate from frontline areas in a timely manner.

Attacks on the Donetsk region
Russian forces continuously attack settlements in the Donetsk region using various types of weapons.
On March 23, Russian troops hit the city of Pokrovsk and the village of Donetske. As a result of the attacks, two people were killed, and one was injured.
On Saturday, March 22, the Russian army struck Pokrovsk again. According to the regional administration, three people were killed, and another was injured.
That same day, a person was wounded in Kramatorsk, while in Rozlyv, part of the Velyka Novosilka community, two people were injured by an FPV drone strike.
On Monday, March 17, Russian forces hit a private house in Pokrovsk. Three children were injured in the attack — two sisters, aged 8 and 15, and their 12-year-old brother.
