Russia strikes Donetsk region: Two killed, one injured

Russian forces shelled settlements in the Donetsk region on March 23. As a result of the enemy attacks, two people were killed, and one other person was injured, reports the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the prosecutor's office, the Russian military allegedly attacked the village of Donetsk with Smerch MLRS.
"The impact occurred near a multi-story building. As a result of the shelling, a 46-year-old man was killed at his place of residence," the law enforcement authorities reported.
Russian forces once again targeted residential areas in Pokrovsk. The type of weapon used in the attack is currently being investigated.
During the enemy attacks, a 76-year-old pensioner who was outdoors was fatally wounded. A 69-year-old local man also sustained injuries. He was diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk District Prosecutor's Offices, pre-trial investigations have been launched in criminal cases regarding war crimes (Articles 1 and 2, Section 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the prosecutor's office added.

Additionally, Russian forces have been continuously shelling settlements in the Donetsk region using various weapons. On Saturday, March 22, the enemy shelled the city of Pokrovsk. According to the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, three people were killed, and one was injured.
Yesterday, a person was wounded in Kramatorsk. In the Rozlyv area of the Velykonovosilkivska community, two people were injured by a strike from an FPV drone.
On Monday, March 17, Russian forces attacked a private home in Pokrovsk. As a result of the strike, three children were injured, specifically two sisters, aged 8 and 15, and their 12-year-old brother.
