Attack on Ukraine on December 11
Last night, on December 11, explosions were heard in Kyiv. An air raid alert was declared after the explosions. It was reported that rocket fragments fell on the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts of the capital. Four people were injured. Later it became known that the strike hit the Bortnychi neighborhood in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.
The Air Force explained that the alert in Kyiv and the region during the night attack was announced immediately after the first explosions, as ballistic missiles fly very fast and air defense has a few minutes to respond to the threat. The air defense system shot down eight missiles over Kyiv that were flying on a ballistic trajectory.
