On the evening of May 2, the Russian army launched a drone attack on the city of Kharkiv. A residential building was damaged, and there are casualties, according to the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to Terekhov, as a result of the attack on Kharkiv by enemy drones, an apartment building was damaged.

"Cars are burning near it. Information about the injured is being clarified," he wrote.

Meanwhile, Syniehubov reported that six people are already known to have been injured in Kharkiv.

"Emergency medical teams are working at the sites of enemy UAV strikes, providing assistance to the injured," he said.

According to the Air Force, the Russian army launched several groups of strike drones from different directions this evening.

Recently, the Russian army carried out a massive drone strike on Kharkiv. Later, it was reported that the number of injured had increased to 47, including two children and a pregnant woman.

It was also reported that as a result of the drone attack, 14 private homes and three apartment buildings were damaged, along with a civilian enterprise and two hospitals.

On the night of May 1, Russian forces once again attacked Kharkiv. A strike by an enemy drone was recorded at a gas station, causing a fire.
