President Zelenskyy's reaction

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the massive shelling of Kharkiv.

In his official channel, he emphasized that there were "no military targets" in the areas hit by Russian UAVs, and none could have been. According to him, Russia "strikes at residential areas precisely when Ukrainians are at home, when they are putting their children to sleep."

"Only inhumane individuals can give such orders and carry them out. While the world hesitates with decisions, nearly every night in Ukraine turns into a nightmare, causing the loss of lives. Ukraine needs stronger air defense. Strong and real decisions are needed from our partners: the United States, Europe, and all our partners who seek peace. Only strength and sanctions will force Russia to stop," the head of state noted.

Zelenskyy also shared photos and videos from the site of the Russian Shahed drone strikes.
