Russian forces attacked settlements in the Kharkiv region throughout the day on May 11. In the evening, they struck the village of Baranivka. A drone hit a car, injuring two residents, reports the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

According to law enforcement, Russian forces struck a car with a drone near 4:00 PM Kyiv time in Baranivka.

"The vehicle was damaged, and a 53-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were injured. The victims are receiving medical assistance," the prosecutor's office reported.

Additionally, throughout the day, Russian forces repeatedly attacked the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region. For about an hour and a half in the morning, the enemy attacked the city of Kupiansk and the village of Stetsivka. Residential buildings in these areas were damaged.

Law enforcement also reported hits by enemy FPV drones on the Zolochiv community in the Bohodukhiv district. As a result of a drone strike in the village of Ivashky, a 54-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.

In total, today, Russian forces injured five residents of the Kharkiv region.

"Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document the crimes committed by Russian military forces. Pre-trial investigations have been initiated for war crimes (Article 438, part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the Kharkiv Prosecutor's Office stated.

Russian attacks on the Kharkiv region

Russian forces continue to strike the Kharkiv region, causing civilian casualties and significant damage to infrastructure.

Today, they struck the village of Sadovod in the Kharkiv region with a guided aerial bomb. The attack damaged residential homes and triggered a fire. According to Ukraine's State Emergency Service, two two-story buildings were affected, and the fire spread across an area of 130 square meters.

Apartments and outbuildings were damaged. Two women were injured due to stress reactions. In addition to extinguishing the fire, firefighters rescued a rabbit.

A week ago, on May 3, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on the village of Velykyi Burluk. The strike destroyed a two-story commercial building, damaged administrative buildings and trade pavilions, and caused a large fire.

Earlier, on April 22, Russian forces struck the frontline village of Horokhovatka in the Izium district of the Kharkiv region. Civilian casualties were reported, residential infrastructure was destroyed, and two residents were injured.
