Russian drone strikes house in Kharkiv region with children inside, casualties reported
A Russian drone attacked a residential building in Liubotyn, Kharkiv region, on the night of February 2. Two people were injured, according to the Telegram account of Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the enemy UAV strike in Liubotyn, a man and a woman sustained burns from the flames. They were hospitalized, according to Oleh Syniehubov.
Additionally, the head of the regional military administration reported that the attack damaged a private house.
"There were two children inside the house, but they were not injured," Syniehubov added.
Currently, emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attacks.
Shelling of Kharkiv and the region
Russian forces have been regularly shelling Kharkiv and the surrounding region since the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
On the night of February 2, Russian invaders attacked a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv, causing a large fire.
On February 1, Russian forces also launched missile attacks on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region. In particular, a missile hit the residential area in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire at the site of impact. One person was killed, and four others were injured.
