Russian drone strike on Odesa: Seven casualties known, including one child
As a result of a Russian attack using Shahed drones in Odesa on the night of March 2, multiple-story buildings were damaged, and four people, including a child, were injured, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"In Odesa, there are civilians wounded and residential multi-story buildings damaged due to a Russian attack using strike drones," stated the official.
According to him, at the moment, four casualties are known, including one child.
"The information is being clarified. All relevant services are currently working on-site," added the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

Later, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that the number of casualties in Odesa has increased to seven people.
"A 3-year-old child suffered leg injuries and is currently under medical supervision. Six adults are, preliminarily, in a condition of moderate severity," the official stated.
Specialists continue to work on-site, clearing debris where people might be trapped, as reported by Oleh Kiper.
Attack of Shahed drones on the night of March 2
In Ukraine on Friday evening, air raid sirens were activated in various regions. The reason was another aerial attack by Russian invaders, who launched Shahed drones.
Around midnight in Kharkiv, explosions occurred during the air raid alert. As later explained by the city administration and the Regional Military Administration, there was a strike in one of the city's districts, causing a fire. Two cars were reported to be on fire, windows were shattered in several multi-story buildings, and there was damage to garages, but no information about casualties was available.
Later, it became known that air defense forces and means were deployed in the Odesa region due to the Shahed attack. There were at least two explosions in the city.
