Russian forces struck a police district office in Shostka with drones today, March 11. Police officers were injured, Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported this during a meeting with journalists.

According to the minister, the Russian strike destroyed the Shostka district police headquarters. More than 22 officers were injured.

Klymenko added that the Russian troops also regularly target Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

"There is information that the Russians are also training there in basic military drills to launch drones — against the civilian population. Some attacks are carried out by UAVs, others by artillery," the Interior Minister said.

The enemy is also attacking Semenivka in Chernihiv region, Ukraine’s northernmost district center. The Russian army destroyed everything within a 20-kilometer zone from the border. One of Russia’s targets is administrative buildings, aiming to prevent government bodies from functioning normally.

"Over the past weekend, seven State Emergency Service vehicles were lost during repeated strikes while carrying out relief operations. They destroy infrastructure and strike those who come to help people," Klymenko noted.

Strike on a checkpoint in Kherson

In September last year, Russian forces hit the Korablenyi district of Kherson with unguided missiles.

One of the hits struck a checkpoint. As a result of the Russian attack, a 40-year-old police officer was killed. A 21-year-old officer was also injured, and civilians were among the casualties as well.
