In the morning, Russia struck the coastal areas of the Korabelnyi district of Kherson with unguided missiles. A checkpoint was hit, resulting in one casualty, according to the Kherson Regional Police.

Russian attack on Kherson

"In the morning in Kherson, Russian troops fired unguided missiles at coastal areas of the Korabelnyi district of Kherson. A checkpoint came under heavy fire, killing a 40-year-old police officer who was on duty protecting people," the police said.

A 21-year-old police officer was also injured in the Russian attack and was taken to the hospital with mine-blast trauma and a concussion.

On September 29, in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, Russians dropped explosives from a drone on a private house, injuring a 46-year-old man. He was hospitalized with a concussion and shrapnel wounds to his chest and limbs.

Russia struck entire Kherson region

Law enforcement agencies published a list of numerous settlements in the region that were attacked by Russians.

Near Biliaivka, the Russians attacked a car with an FPV drone, injuring a 58-year-old man.

He suffered mine-blast and open craniocerebral injuries and a skull base fracture.

In the morning in Bilozerka, a 74-year-old resident picked up an unknown object from the ground, which detonated. He was severely injured and died in the hospital in the evening.

His 72-year-old wife was also injured. The woman was hospitalized with blast trauma and a gunshot wound to the chest.

"The Russian army continues to destroy settlements in the de-occupied Kherson region and is committing new bloody war crimes. Over the past day, the occupying forces have once again shelled the Kherson and Beryslav districts with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, aviation, and drones," the police added.

Russian strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure

In addition to civilian casualties, infrastructure has also been damaged.

"Russian strikes caused damage to 17 objects: two apartment buildings and eight private houses, critical infrastructure objects, two cars, and a warehouse," the police wrote.
