The shelling of Kherson does not stop. On Friday morning, September 29, Russian troops shelled the city, causing severe injuries to employees of a utility company.

According to the prosecutor's office statement, Russian occupiers struck Kherson in the morning, around 8:30 AM. Preliminary information suggests that two municipal workers sustained serious injuries and have been hospitalized.

In addition to injuring civilians, the hostile attack also resulted in damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and other civilian infrastructure.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of Kherson's Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the injured municipal workers were employees of the Kherson Parks municipal enterprise. They were cleaning the area when the attack happened.

"A garbage truck was also damaged as a result of the shelling," he added.

Olexandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, confirmed that both injured individuals are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.

"The 24-year-old man has suffered severe limb injuries, while his 68-year-old colleague was has an eye injury and concussion," he wrote regarding the condition of the victims.

Shelling of Kherson

The recent days have seen a surge in attacks on Kherson by occupying forces. On September 28, Russian troops shelled Kherson with artillery, resulting in the tragic deaths of three women.

Kherson Regional Military Administration has observed an increase in shelling of Kherson and the surrounding area. Authorities report that Russian forces have started to employ air bombs and missiles which had not been used for quite some time.
