Today, on September 12, during a night attack, a Russian Shahed drone was spotted flying close to the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant,’ he says.
Later, according to the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, this Shahed was shot down by Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.
‘Russia is deliberately planning the routes of missiles and attack drones so that they pass over Ukraine's nuclear facilities, in particular, and this is not the first time. This is part of Russia's terrorist tactics,’ says Tiurin.

After 2 a.m., an alert was raised in Ukraine because of Russian drones. In particular, explosions were heard several times in the Khmelnytskyi region.
The Russians also tried to attack Kyiv for the seventh time in September. In total, the Russians launched 69 targets at Ukraine, both drones and missiles. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 44 Shaheds out of 64 drones launched by Russia.
In addition, the Russian invaders massively shelled Konotop, causing a power outage in the city, which led to a critical situation with the electricity supply in the city. 14 people were injured.
