Russian drone enters Belarusian airspace again during attack on Ukraine
A Russian Shahed drone once again entered Belarusian airspace during a mass aerial attack directed at Ukraine, citing the monitoring group Belaruski Hayun.
According to the data, around 8:40 AM, one of the Shahed kamikaze drones entered Belarusian airspace from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.
"Preliminary data indicates that the Shahed then continued westward along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border," the report states.
Russian drones in Belarus
A Russian drone entered Belarusian territory on July 13, reaching Vitebsk.
The day before, on July 12, Belarus also scrambled its aviation in response to the Russian drone.
Earlier, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus claimed that Ukrainian drones had allegedly crossed into the airspace. This led the Belarusian dictator to hint at possible direct military actions with Ukraine.
Later, Lukashenko said that Belarus had deployed nearly a third of its army to the border with Ukraine, linking this to the presence of over 120,000 Ukrainian soldiers there.
Such ambiguous statements from the self-proclaimed Belarusian dictator have intensified in the context of Ukraine's breakthrough in Russia's Kursk region. Recently, he also called for negotiations to end the war.
