During Russia's overnight attack on Ukraine, one of the drones entered Moldova's airspace and crashed into a house in the town of Cuhureștii de Jos, according to the Moldovan police.
"A few minutes ago, in the garden of a house in the town of Cuhureștii de Jos, Florești district, a drone fell onto the guard's house," the Moldovan police wrote on Facebook.
It is noted that a bomb disposal and police technical team was sent to the scene. People from nearby houses were evacuated, and the area was cordoned off by police.
"The origin of the drone is not yet known. The police are investigating the incident," the police added.
At least two drones entered Romanian airspace early in the morning. Air-raid warnings were issued in the counties of Tulcea, Galați, and Vrancea.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova has strongly condemned the violation of the Republic's airspace by several drones.
In this regard, the Russian ambassador has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tomorrow at 14:00 to provide explanations.

Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during Russia's massive overnight attack on Ukraine, Russian strike drones may have crossed the border and entered the airspace of Romania and Moldova.
On November 22, Romania scrambled a pair of F-16 fighter jets amid a Russian drone attack on the Odesa region that night.
In addition, on the night of November 11, Romania put its air defense systems on alert due to a massive attack by Russian drones on Ukrainian ports along the Danube.
Also, earlier, on September 13, a Russian strike drone violated Romanian airspace. This incident occurred during a Russian attempt to attack Ukrainian infrastructure on the Danube and prompted a preventive activation of Romania's air defense systems.
