Russians confirm that yesterday, January 31, the Belbek airfield in the occupied Crimea was attacked. In particular, the strike targeted a communication center, according to the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA.

An unidentified missile struck the Belbek military airfield yesterday. The communication center of the Russian military unit 80159 was attacked.

According to publicly available information, this military unit belongs to the Belbek airfield.

"The communication center caught fire, and the fire area was about 30 square meters. There are no casualties reported preliminarily," the report says.

Explosions in Crimea on January 31

Yesterday, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, explosions were heard repeatedly. Local Telegram channels published photos and videos showing traces of missiles in the sky.

There were also reports on social media about a supposed fire near the Belbek airfield after the explosions and the operation of the occupiers' air defense. At the same time, Russians claimed that the temporarily occupied Crimea was allegedly targeted by dozens of missiles.

However, after the explosions in Sevastopol, the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk, made a statement, hinting at a strike on the Belbek airfield.
