Not the first explosions

Before that, around 15:50, explosions were heard in the areas of Sevastopol and Saky. Eyewitnesses reported explosions in Hvardiiske and gunfire in Feodosia.

Prior to this, the occupation's so-called authorities declared an air alarm in the territory of Sevastopol. Later, footage appeared of missile launches and the deployment of aviation.

Subsequent explosions in Sevastopol

Around 16:43, according to Crimean Wind, eyewitnesses reported powerful explosions in Sevastopol and the Saky district. Smoke was seen in the sky over the settlement of Hvardiiske in the Simferopol district.

Later, explosions were also heard in Shcholkine, located on the Kerch Peninsula, and something started burning in the northern part of Sevastopol.

At 16:56, the terrorists deployed aviation into the sky to "save it from strikes on the airfields."

Fire in the northern part

There is a fire reported in the area of the Belbek airfield. Many fire trucks have been dispatched.

What the Russians are saying

"The air defense system is operating in Sevastopol. According to preliminary data, an aerial target has been shot down," wrote the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
