During the shelling of Kharkiv yesterday evening, Russian forces indiscriminately targeted the city with aerial munitions. This indicates the enemy's intent to terrorize the local population rather than a focused attempt to hit a military target, according to the Kharkiv regional police.

The head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Volodymyr Tymoshko, described the actions of the Russian army during this airstrike as terrorism against the residents of Kharkiv.

"The Russian tactical aviation launched strikes from the direction of Belgorod, indiscriminately scattering KAB bombs across the city, which indicates that this was not a targeted attack on military facilities but rather an act of terror against the local population," he emphasized.

According to preliminary data from explosives experts, the enemy targeted Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs KAB-250 equipped with UMPK. Three districts of the city were hit during the attack.

What are the consequences, video, and photos

As of 3 AM Kyiv time, it has been confirmed that 12 civilians in Kharkiv were injured due to Russian strikes, including 7 women aged 22 to 83 and 5 men aged 21 to 38.

"Residential apartment buildings, non-residential structures, garages, auto repair shops, gas stations, private households, and vehicles were damaged," the law enforcement agencies reported.
