As a result of a Russian drone attack on Dnipro on Monday, January 5, 300 tons of oil spilled onto the city's roads. Certain roads have been closed for several days, according to Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov.
"As a result of the Russian drone attack on Dnipro, 300 tons of oil spilled on the roads! Municipal workers are cleaning up, throwing sand and a mixture, but it will be impossible to drive along the embankment for about 2-3 days," he says.
Filatov adds that the Russians bombed US property, as the plant belongs to Bunge, a company based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Russian strike on Dnipro on January 5
Today, Russia attacked Dnipro with drones, damaging the enterprise and surrounding infrastructure, causing a fire.
According to Vladyslav Haivanenko, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, there were no reports of casualties or deaths after the Russian attack.

On the night of January 5, Russia attacked Ukraine with 165 drones and 9 ballistic missiles, most of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
Russian strikes and their consequences were recorded in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Slavutych, Poltava, and Kharkiv. In particular, significant damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded in Chernihiv.
In the city of Slavutych in the Kyiv region, the centralized power supply was temporarily cut off as a result of the nighttime Russian attack.
In addition, Russians carried out a massive attack on Kyiv last night. In the Obolonskyi district, a Russian drone hit a private clinic: three people were injured, and another man was killed.
