Russian attack on Ukraine's Dnipro on June 24: Regional authorities update number of injured

As a result of a Russian strike on the city of Dnipro on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 24, more than 300 people were injured. Among them are children who have been hospitalized, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"In Dnipro, according to the latest data, 304 people were injured as a result of yesterday’s missile attack," the head of the regional administration reported.
He also noted that 112 people remain in hospitals, including seven children.
Strike on Dnipro
On the morning of June 24, a series of explosions rocked the city of Dnipro. The Air Force detected two ballistic targets headed toward the city.
Later, it was confirmed that Russian forces struck a residential area. A passenger train en route from Odesa to Zaporizhzhia was also damaged: the blast wave shattered the carriage windows, though there were no direct hits.
Significant damage was reported at multiple sites across the city, including schools, kindergartens, a dormitory, a gymnasium, a city hospital, a clinic, and an administrative building. Nearly all of these facilities suffered direct hits or collateral damage.
As of today, it is known that 19 people were killed in the enemy strike.
