Russian attack leaves almost fifty injured in Donetsk's town

The number of casualties and injuries from the Russian strike on Dobropillia on March 7 has increased. As of 4:00 PM (Kyiv time), there are reports of 11 deaths and 47 injuries, informs Vadym Filashkin, head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Among the injured are seven children. Seven victims have been hospitalized in Dobropillia, while three in critical condition have been evacuated to Dnipropetrovsk, according to the head of the administration.
As a result of the attack, at least eight five-story buildings, a shopping center, trade pavilions, and approximately 30 vehicles were destroyed or damaged. Some buildings were nearly completely burned down.
Rescue services are continuing to address the aftermath of the shelling. The final extent of the damage caused by the Russian attack is still being assessed.

Russian attack on Dobropillia
On Friday, March 7, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Dobropillia in the Donetsk region.
The shelling caused significant destruction. During the firefighting efforts, rescuers came under renewed fire, which resulted in damage to a fire truck.
Responding to the attack on Dobropillia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that such strikes demonstrate the unchanging goals of Russia. Therefore, he emphasized, it is crucial to continue doing everything possible to protect lives, strengthen air defense, and impose tougher sanctions on Russia.
