The number of injured in Dobropillia has increased following the Russian missile strike on the city on March 7. Currently, there are 40 victims, states by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin on his Facebook page.

"11 dead and 33 injured – these are the casualties from yesterday’s strike on Dobropillia as of 1:00 PM," he reported.

According to the head of the regional military administration, all the injured have received medical assistance.

40 injured

Later, the prosecutor's office reported that the number of the injured had increased to 40 people.

According to Oleksandr Holubov, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, 11 people were killed in the attack.

"Another 40 residents sustained injuries of varying severity. Among them are five children aged 9 to 17," he noted.

Dobropillia shelling

Russian occupiers launched strikes on Dobropillia in Donetsk region on March 7. The attack resulted in casualties, including deaths and injuries. This shelling became one of the most widespread attacks in the Donetsk region in recent times.

Previously, it was reported that 11 people were killed and 30 others were injured due to the strike on Dobropillia. The Russians hit the city with two ballistic missiles.
