Russian attack hits Odesa: officials reveal emergency response in action

In Odesa, work continues to deal with the aftermath of an enemy attack on December 27, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa Military-Civilian Administration.
Lysak reported that the attack caused damage to social infrastructure in the city.
He added that materials have been delivered to temporarily cover the damaged windows.
The district administration, the city improvement department, housing and communal services, and other relevant agencies are conducting inspections and documenting the damaged property.
No information about casualties has been reported.
Serhii Lysak also stated that an operational headquarters has been set up on site, along with a warming center where residents can receive information, guidance, assistance, and consultations on the state eRecovery program, as well as municipal support programs for compensation and help in restoring damaged housing.
Attack on Odesa on December 27
Russian forces attacked Odessa with drones late on the evening of December 27, causing explosions in the city.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force reported detecting enemy drones in the Black Sea heading toward Odesa.
Later, Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, wrote that an enemy drone struck the roof of a two-story building, causing a fire.
Previous attacks on Odesa
Earlier, on the night of December 26, the city suffered a drone attack, which damaged an infrastructure facility and caused a fire.
Additionally, on December 22, Russian forces again attacked Odesa with drones, damaging a critical infrastructure facility. As a result, part of one district was left without electricity.
