An infrastructure facility in Odesa was hit as a result of a drone attack. A fire broke out. Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the strike are ongoing, Odesa City Military Administration head Serhii Lysak reported.

On the night of December 26, the enemy again attacked Odesa with drones. One of them hit an infrastructure facility in the city.

According to preliminary data, there were no fatalities or injuries, Serhii Lysak reported.

All relevant services are working at the impact site. Specialists are also inspecting the surrounding area to identify possible damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

Separately, the head of the City Military Administration said the situation along the coastline is being monitored. Specialists from the Ukrainian Scientific Center of Marine Ecology are monitoring the condition of seawater and assessing the environmental consequences of the incident.

At the city commission's request, work is being carried out along the coast to localize and eliminate pollution.

Power engineers continue restoring electricity to residents' homes.

Attacks on Odesa

In recent weeks, Russians have been particularly active in attacking various infrastructure facilities in Odesa and the Odesa region.

In particular, the energy sector has been affected. On December 22, Russian forces attacked Odesa with drones twice, damaging a critical infrastructure facility in the city. After the attack, part of one district was left without electricity.

A similar situation occurred on the night of December 19. At that time, part of one district of Odesa was left without electricity, water, or heating.

On Thursday, December 25, emergency power outages were introduced in Odesa. This was due to damaged equipment. As Serhii Lysak explained, the night of December 25 passed calmly, but emergency power outages were introduced.
