Russia strikes Ukraine's Odesa twice overnight: Power damaged, casualties reported

2 Russian attacks overnight damaged critical infrastructure in Odesa, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa regional military administration.
Due to Russian attacks on Odesa, part of one of the districts was temporarily left without electricity.
A 30-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds of moderate severity.
Windows in a residential building were damaged. Utility services are working to eliminate the consequences.
On the night of December 22, Russians struck the Odesa region several times, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. An air raid alert was declared in the Odesa and Bolhrad districts.
Russian attacks on Odesa
On December 20, Russians launched a massive attack on civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region. Russia targeted transport, port, and industrial infrastructure in the south of the region.
According to the head of the Regional military administration, Russian strikes caused fires and damaged property. There were no casualties.
On the evening of December 19, the Russians launched a missile strike on the port infrastructure of the Odesa region.
Due to the Russian attack, freight traffic on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway was blocked.
And on the night of December 13, the region experienced one of the largest attacks since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russians targeted energy infrastructure with missiles and drones to plunge the region into darkness and cold.
As a result, Odesa was without electricity for about 5 days, and the city of Artsyz, according to the mayor, may remain without power until December 26.
