Russian attack destroys railway station in Ukraine's Kharkiv region

The enemy struck the Berestyn railway station in the Kharkiv region, with the explosion badly damaging the station building, according to Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukraine's state railway operator).
Overnight, the enemy carried out another strike on railway facilities. This time, Berestyn station in the Kharkiv region was attacked, damaging the station building.
Pertsovskyi said station employees were in shelters during the attack and escaped unharmed.
"The employees were in shelters during the attack on the station. Everyone is safe. We will restore the buildings," the head of Ukrzaliznytsia wrote.
According to Pertsovskyi, railway workers are also dealing with the aftermath of other enemy strikes across the country, from the Kirovohrad region to Kyiv.
In particular, full service on the Kyiv City Express (the capital's urban commuter rail network) is expected to be restored soon. The enemy significantly damaged infrastructure at several stations.

Massive attack on Ukraine: What is known
The attack on Berestyn station was part of a massive strike targeting several regions at once. Overnight and on the morning of September 17, the enemy attacked seven regions of Ukraine with missiles, drones, and an aerial bomb.

In Kyiv, 16 people were injured, including two children, and the attack also hit a Kyivvodokanal (Kyiv's municipal water utility) building;

In Odesa, a drone struck an apartment building, destroying 10 apartments and injuring seven people;

In the Kyiv region, 33 sites were damaged, with the Brovary and Fastiv districts suffering the most damage;

In Zaporizhzhia, a missile strike on industrial facilities injured three people.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the enemy used ballistic missiles, Kalibr cruise missiles, and more than 150 attack drones overnight.
Air defenses managed to neutralize 131 enemy targets, mostly Shahed drones and decoy drones.
Due to the overnight attack on Kyiv, the water supply was partially suspended on the left bank, while water pressure dropped on the right bank.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the number of people injured in the capital rose to 16, including two children.
