In the Brovary urban hromada, an accident occurred at power supply facilities due to an enemy attack, according to Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko.

As a result of the enemy attack, an accident occurred at power supply facilities in the Brovary community.

According to him, power engineers will begin addressing the consequences as soon as the security situation in the city allows.

The mayor also reminded residents of the need to observe information silence during the attack — that is, not to publish data on the consequences of the strikes or impact sites until official announcements are made.

In Kyiv, a children's hospital was damaged as a result of the attack; people were trapped under rubble, and debris struck several districts of Kyiv simultaneously, including Solomyanskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Darnytskyi.

On the night of August 20, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, and the Air Force had warned about the threat from the northern direction. On the same day, Ukrainians were warned about Russia's preparation for a new attack — the Russian leadership, according to assessments, is not inclined toward peace.
