Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation in which Russian soldiers openly admit that they break their own soldiers' legs if they try to flee the battlefield.

The new intercepted conversation makes it clear that in the Russian army, soldiers who try to escape are brutally punished by their own commanders.

One of the speakers described a fighter captured near temporarily occupied Mariupol:

"Soon, a f****d-up fighter will be brought to you. But he has f*****g broken arms and legs, lying there like bait for the Ukrainians," the occupier said.

Ukrainian intelligence reminded that every war crime committed against Ukraine will be met with justice.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence intercepted another conversation in which a Russian soldier's relative spoke about a destroyed unit fighting in Ukraine. According to her, only 2 of 25 Russian soldiers survived.

In another intelligence intercept, a commander of a Russian army unit reportedly ordered his subordinates to torture Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Ukrainian intelligence also released a recording in which a commander of occupying forces in the Novopavlivka direction instructed his troops to force Ukrainian soldiers to surrender so they could later be killed.
