Throughout the day, there were 125 combat engagements at the front. The situation remained most intense in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Lyman, Kramatorsk, and Vremivka directions, according to the evening report from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Enemy shelling

Throughout the day, the enemy carried out 3,313 strikes against the positions of defense forces and populated areas. Additionally, Russian forces launched four missile strikes, conducted 47 airstrikes including the deployment of 59 guided aerial bombs (KAB), and employed 550 kamikaze drones.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv region, the enemy attacked near Hlyboke, Tykhe, and Sotnytskyi Kozachok five times. Our defenders successfully repelled all attacks. Preliminary estimates indicate that the enemy suffered 73 casualties, including killed and wounded personnel. Our forces also destroyed three artillery systems, five vehicles, three pieces of specialized equipment, and 14 drones. Two artillery systems and two vehicles were damaged.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army attempted to advance towards our positions near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Petropavlivka eight times throughout the day. Defense forces repelled seven of these attacks, and fighting continued.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched 11 attacks in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, and the Serebryanske Forestry. One engagement is still ongoing, while our troops have halted the rest.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy made eight unsuccessful attempts to breach our defenses in Verkhniokamianske and Ivanivka. Fighting in the Verkhniokamianske area is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian forces' activity resulted in ten combat engagements. Seven attacks near Chasiv Yar, Nove, and towards Novomarkove were repelled. Three engagements are still ongoing, with the invaders suffering losses.

In the Toretsk direction, our forces repelled six attacks near Pyatykhatky and New York. Two attacks were successfully defended against, with the enemy achieving no success. Fighting continues at four locations, and the situation remains under control.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy made 27 attempts to breach our defenses, particularly in the areas of Vozdvizhivka, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Vovche, and Karlivka. Six attacks are ongoing.

The enemy has sustained significant losses - preliminary reports indicate that today our forces neutralized over 200 Russian soldiers, with 63 of these being irretrievable. One tank, one armored combat vehicle, an artillery system, and nine vehicles were destroyed, with three additional vehicles damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy launched 29 attacks on our positions. The greatest activity was observed around Kostyantynivka and Paraskoviivka, where Ukrainian forces repelled 22 attacks, with five engagements still ongoing. Fighting continues near Krasnohorivka.

In the Vremivka direction, our troops repelled 12 enemy attacks near Kostyantynivka and Vodiane - seven attacks were successfully defended, and five are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army made two unsuccessful attempts to assault our positions near Mala Tokmachka and towards Novodaryivka.

In the Prydniprovks direction, the enemy continues its efforts to dislodge our units from their positions. Today, the Russian army made two failed attempts to storm Ukrainian positions.

Attacks on July 24

Over the past 24 hours, there were 152 combat engagements at the front. The armed forces are depleting the enemy’s offensive potential.

Throughout July 24, Russian forces repeatedly shelled Kharkiv, including a strike with a guided aerial bomb on the city center.

In a morning missile attack, the enemy targeted the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action office, which is involved in demining the region.
