Ukraine was under attack on August 6

On the night of August 6, Russia launched 45 drones at Ukraine from three directions. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but some did hit their mark.

In the morning, Russian forces carried out at least four strikes on a recreation center in the Zaporizhzhia district. Preliminary reports suggest the Russian army used glide bombs (FABs) in the attack.

Two people were killed, and another 12 were injured. Among the wounded are four children.

That same night, the Russian army also targeted the Izmail district of the Odesa region with drones. Gas infrastructure facilities were hit, causing a fire visible from Romania.

The blaze completely destroyed production equipment. Due to damage to a main gas pipeline, 2,500 customers have been temporarily disconnected.
