Russia is using old equipment to wage war against Ukraine, but by mid-2025, there may be no old tanks and combat vehicles left in Russian arsenals, according to Forbes.

As noted, the Kremlin is replenishing the losses of the Russian army in Ukraine by declassifying old stocks of equipment. This includes combat vehicles from the 1970s and sometimes even the 60s or 50s.

The publication adds that this equipment has a limited lifespan and cannot be replaced by new production.

Estonian military analyst Artur Rehi believes that by mid-2025, Russian arsenals will be empty of old tanks and combat vehicles. According to the analyst, Russia's time is running out.

At the same time, the publication emphasizes that the Russian army still relies on the massiveness of troops despite suffering losses.

American General Christopher Cavoli emphasized that the Russian army is now effectively 15% larger than at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. According to him, over the past year, Russia has increased the number of its troops at the front from 360 to 470 thousand.

Russian troop losses

The Russian Ministry of Defense conceals the losses of occupation forces in Ukraine. At the same time, the Putin regime constantly lies about the losses of Ukrainian troops.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that Russia has already lost over 450 thousand soldiers in the war. Just in the past day, our soldiers eliminated 840 Russians.

British intelligence reported that Russia recruits about 30 thousand new soldiers to its army every month. This allows Russia to continue its aggressive war against Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russian opposition media reported that with the start of Russia's offensive on the front, the losses of occupation forces have significantly increased.
