On the night of November 28, Russia attacked Ukraine using one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 72 drones. Ukraine’s air defense managed to shoot down most of the UAVs, according to the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the military, from 06:00 p.m. local time on November 27 until the morning of November 28, the enemy launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile from temporarily occupied Crimea and 72 attack drones — Shahed, Herbera, and other UAV types — from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, and Millerovo in Russia. About 50 of them were Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, drone system units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

According to preliminary information, as of 09:00 a.m. local time, air defense shot down/suppressed 63 enemy UAVs — Shaheds, Herbera, and other types — over the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

Impacts from the ballistic missile and nine attack drones were recorded at five locations, along with debris from intercepted drones falling at one location.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Earlier, on the night of November 27, Russia again attacked Ukraine using 142 attack drones. Most of the enemy UAVs were shot down.

The Odesa region was among the targets. The attack damaged two residential buildings, an equestrian sports club, and a gas station.

On the night of November 26, Russia attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 90 drones. Most UAVs were shot down.

On the night of November 25, Russia attacked Kyiv in several waves, launching Shaheds, Kinzhals, Kalibrs, and Iskander-K missiles at the capital. Heating was partially cut in seven districts as a result.

There were also destructions in the Pechersk and Dniprovskyi districts, and residential high-rises were damaged. Additionally, seven people were killed and 20 were injured.

That evening, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia, followed by fires. One of them broke out in a residential building and affected several floors.

In total, at least seven residential buildings and several private houses in different districts of Zaporizhzhia were damaged in the attack. A business and a store also caught fire.

Eighteen people were injured in the attack, most of them women.
