Russia launches over 140 drones at Ukraine overnight, most shot down

During the night of November 27, Russia again attacked Ukraine, deploying 142 strike drones. Most of the enemy UAVs were shot down, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
According to the military, the Russians attacked with 142 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of strike drones, coming from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiiske in Crimea. About 90 of them were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, UAV units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 92 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country.
A total of 42 strike drone impacts were recorded at 18 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at three locations.
"The attack continues; several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.
Attacks on Ukraine
On the night of November 27, the Odesa region once again came under attack from Russian drones. The strike damaged two residential buildings, an equestrian club, and a gas station.
During the night of November 26, Russia attacked Ukraine using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 90 drones. Most of the UAVs were shot down.
On the evening of November 25, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia, followed by fires, including one in a residential building where several floors caught fire.
Overall, as a result of the enemy attack, at least seven apartment buildings and several private houses in different districts of Zaporizhzhia were damaged. A business and a shop also caught fire.
Eighteen people were injured in the attack, most of them women.
During the night of November 25, Russia attacked Kyiv in several waves. The enemy launched Shaheds, Kinzhal, Kalibr, and Iskander-K missiles at the capital. As a result of the attack, heating was partially disrupted in homes across seven districts.
There was also destruction in the Pecherskyi and Dniprovskyi districts; apartment buildings were damaged. In addition, seven people were killed, and another 20 were injured in the attack.
