Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, advancing in the Melitopol direction, and maintain defensive positions around Avdiivka. Over the past 24 hours, there have been 64 reported clashes, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attacks

Over the past day, the adversary conducted 2 missile and 42 aviation strikes, carrying out more than 53 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.

During the night, Russian occupiers launched another strike on Ukraine, using 2 guided aviation missiles X-59 and 3 strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. All strike UAVs were successfully neutralized by Air Defense Forces.

The following locations were subjected to aviation strikes: Kostobobriv, Chernihiv region; Oleksandriya, Sumy region; Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Ivanivka, Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Serebrianske Forestry, Luhansk region; Spirne, Chasiv Yar, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Toretsk, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Urozhaine, Donetsk region.

More than 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Pivnich in the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out assault actions in the area of Synkivka, where the Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, the adversary conducted unsuccessful assault actions near Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. Our defenders repelled 11 attacks in this area.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, and consolidating positions at achieved lines.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers hold the defense steadfastly and inflict significant losses on the occupiers.

The enemy's offensive actions were unsuccessful east of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 20 attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian Forces repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of Maryinka, Hryhorivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions southwest of Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted assault actions west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region but did not achieve success.

At the same time, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, our defenders continue to hold occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, engage in counter-battery warfare, and deliver fire strikes on the enemy's rear areas.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces delivered strikes on 11 areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment of the enemy.

Missile troops units targeted 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, a command post, an ammunition depot, an air defense system, and 4 artillery pieces of the enemy.
