Ukrainian forces continue to defend in the east and south, conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. In the past day, there were 50 combat clashes, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attacks

During the past day, the enemy launched 7 missile and 70 aviation strikes and conducted 93 artillery strikes with multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements.

Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged and destroyed.

In addition, on the night of November 3, Russian occupiers launched another attack on Ukraine, using 38 combat drones of the Shahed-136/131 type and 1 guided aviation missile Kh-59.

Air defense forces have destroyed 24 combat drones and 1 X-59 missile. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Aviation strikes were carried out in the following locations: Mohrytsi in the Sumy region; Petropavlivka, Kyrylivka, Pishchane in the Kharkiv region; Serebrianske Forest in the Luhansk region; Vyimka, Spirne, Klishchiivka, Pivdenne, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Sukhi Yaly, Vodyane, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region; Respublikanets, Antonivka, Novokairy, Prydniprovske, Tyahynka in the Kherson region.

More than 100 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group North in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively conducts subversive activities to prevent the transfer of our forces to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions in the areas of the settlements Sinkyvka, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, where our defenders repelled about 10 enemy attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions in the areas of Klishchiivka and Andriivka. Our defenders repelled about 10 enemy attacks here. The enemy also conducted unsuccessful storming actions near the southern part of the Donetsk region. At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, causing losses to the enemy in personnel and equipment, and consolidating their positions on the achieved front lines.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, continues attempts to encircle Avdiivka, but our soldiers steadfastly maintain their defense and inflict significant losses on the enemy. The enemy's offensive actions near the settlements of Stepove, Tonenke, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Here, the defense forces repelled about 10 enemy attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, the occupiers conducted unsuccessful storming actions in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled over 20 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful storming actions near Prechystivka and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, causing losses to the occupying forces in personnel and equipment and wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, our soldiers conduct counter-battery warfare and deliver fire strikes on the enemy's rear areas.

Enemy losses

During the day, the air force of the Defense Forces delivered 13 strikes on the areas of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment, and 2 strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complexes. Missile troops units hit the command post, 4 areas of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment, an EW station, an ammunition depot, 8 artillery pieces, as well as other important enemy targets.
