Ukrainian forces continue to defend the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, as well as conducting offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol and Bakhmut. In the past day, there have been 69 combat engagements, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attacks

At the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers launched another rocket strike on a residential high-rise building in the center of Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties, injuries, and missing individuals. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Over the past day, the enemy conducted a total of 3 rocket strikes and 35 airstrikes, along with 39 artillery shelling incidents on the positions of our troops and civilian areas using multiple rocket launcher systems.

Additionally, Russian occupiers launched another rocket and aviation strike on Ukraine, utilizing guided aviation missile Kh-59, surface-to-air guided missiles S-300, and 6 attack drones Shahed-136/131. One guided aviation missile X-59 and 6 drones were destroyed by air defense forces.

Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks, with private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure sustaining damage.

Aerial strikes targeted locations such as Mykolaivka, Sumy region, Serebryanske Forest, Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, Spirne, Vesele, Nyu-York, Avdiivka, Stepove, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, and Rivnopil, Donetsk region, as well as Beryslav and Vesele, Kherson region.

Around 100 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group North in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively stable with no significant changes.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducting active sabotage activities to prevent the repositioning of Ukrainian forces to critical areas. They are also increasing the density of mines and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia in the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled more than 15 enemy attacks in the areas of settlements Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Kyslivka in Kharkiv region and 9 more attacks near Nadiia in Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive actions.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive actions south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses on the occupiers in terms of personnel and equipment, and consolidating their achieved positions.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy is persistently trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian forces have repelled 5 enemy attacks here.

In the Maryinka and Shakhtarsk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled over 20 enemy attacks in the area of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, as well as 2 attacks south of Zolota Nyva and south of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions southwest of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders are engaged in counter-battery combat and are inflicting fire damage to the enemy's rear areas.

Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol direction, achieving partial success south of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian troops are inflicting losses on the occupation forces in terms of personnel and equipment and are wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses

During the day, the Defense Forces' aviation conducted 15 strikes on enemy personnel, equipment, and military machinery concentration areas, as well as 3 strikes on enemy air defense complexes.

Missile forces units struck 5 command posts, personnel, equipment and military machinery concentration areas, ammunition depots, and artillery weapons of the enemy.
