Ukrainian military forces are actively countering and repelling the advancing actions of Russian aggressors on five fronts, reports the Ukrainian General Staff.
Russian offensives
In the past 24 hours, as of 18:00, the enemy launched one missile and 48 aviation strikes, conducting eight salvos of rocket fire on our forces' positions and populated areas.
The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Frontline situation
Within the past day, there have been 30 clashes between forces.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy executed aerial strikes in the regions of Odnorobivka, Strylecha, and Hatyshcha in the Kharkiv region.
They carried out mortar and artillery shelling on more than 30 populated areas, including Hremiach in the Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Pavlivka, and Sosnivka in the Sumy region; and Verkhnia Pysarivka, Hatysche, and Varvarivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding their defense and successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Vilshana and Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. The enemy conducted aviation strikes in the regions of Kyslivka and Krokhmalnyi in the Kharkiv region. The enemy's artillery and mortar shelling impacted over 10 populated areas, including Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Podoly in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy's attempts at advancement were futile in the area of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. They launched aviation strikes near Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Torske, Serebrianka, Dibrova, and Spivne in the Donetsk region. The enemy's artillery shelling affected settlements including Kuzminivka and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spivne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, defense forces are pushing back the enemy near Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Khromove, Klyshchiivka, Stupochok, Dyliivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and New York. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Minkivka, Novomarkove, Markove, Bohdanivka, and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, under dense fire from enemy aviation and artillery, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian forces in the Avdiivka area. The enemy launched aviation strikes in the Novokalynove area of the Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas were subject to artillery shelling, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Sieverne, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, defense forces continue to thwart Russian forces' advances in the Maryinka areas. The enemy shelled more than 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, Heorhiivka, Yelyzavetivka, and Kurakhove in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to reclaim lost ground in the Staromaiorske area. They carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Pavlivka, Zolota Nyva, and Staromaiorske. Enemy artillery shelling impacted Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region and Levadne in Zaporizhzhia.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, despite conducting aviation strikes, the enemy's attempts at advancing in the Robotynne area of the Zaporizhzhia region were unsuccessful. The enemy is concentrating its efforts on preventing further advancement of our forces. More than 15 populated areas were subjected to artillery shelling, including Rivnopil, Novodarivka, Temyrivka, Olhivske, Charivne, and Novoandriivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy's artillery shelling impacted more than 20 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Zmiivka, Veletenske, Kherson in the Kherson region, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
Offensive operations
Simultaneously, Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidating their positions, and engaging in counter-battery actions.
Enemy losses
In the past day, Ukrainian defense aviation struck the areas of enemy personnel concentration, weaponry, and military equipment six times.
Rocket and artillery units struck two command points, five areas of enemy personnel concentration, weaponry, and military equipment, four artillery systems in firing positions, five ammunition depots, and one enemy radio-electronic warfare station.
