Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 26

Over the last day, 154 combat engagements were registered on the frontline. The highest Russian activity was observed in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled over 50 attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders carried out 79 air strikes, dropped 117 guided bombs, launched 3,278 kamikaze drones, and 5,902 artillery attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Russia carried out air strikes in the following localities:
- Kharkiv region - Vodiane, Hraniv, Okhrimivka, Hryhorivka;
- Donetsk region - Poltavka, Shakhove, Illinivka, Volodymyrivka, Popiv Yar, Novotoretske, Sukhyi Yar, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Oleksandohrad, Andriivka-Klevtsove;
- Zaporizhzhia region - Malynivka, Olhivske, Kamianske;
- Kherson region - Olhivka, Tavriiske.
Directions
North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 14 Russian attacks. Russia launched 8 air strikes, using 20 guided bombs. Also, 263 artillery attacks were recorded, including 7 from multiple launch rocket systems.
South-Slobozhanskyi direction. Russian troops attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 8 times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region.
Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian forces repelled 4 Russian assault attacks in the areas of Holubivka, Stepova, Novoselivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Zelenyi Hai.
Lyman direction. 17 Russian attacks were registered. Russians tried to break through near Hrekivka, Kopanky, Nadiia, Ridkodub, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, and Torske.
Siversk direction. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 4 Russian attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Hryhorivka.
Kramatorsk direction. Russia attempted to attack Ukrainian troops' positions in the areas of Stupochky and Bila Hora 8 times.
Toretsk direction. 16 Russian attacks were registered in the areas of Toretsk, Nelipivka, Oleksandr-Kalynove, and Yablunivka over the last day.
Pokrovsk direction. The highest intensity of hostilities - 51 assault attacks in the areas of Poltavka, Myrne, Koptieve, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka.
Novopavlivka direction. Russians attacked Ukrainian positions 20 times near the towns of Zaporizhzhia, Vilne Pole, Perestroika, and Shevchenko.
Huliaipole direction. One attack took place in the area of Malynivka.
Orikhiv direction. Russians tried to break through in the direction of Novoandriivka.
Prydniprovskyi direction. 2 unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian positions were registered.
Volyn and Polissia direction. No signs of Russian strike group formation were detected.
Russia's losses
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over a million military personnel.
In particular, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 1,100 troops. Also yesterday, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed one Russian tank, 7 armored combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, and other Russian equipment.
