Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 25

Russian forces continue large-scale attacks along the entire front line. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out over 4,000 strikes, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 10:00 p.m., there have been 118 combat clashes on the front today. The Russian army also launched 54 airstrikes, dropping 80 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russian forces used 1,129 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,126 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
Situation by the directions
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units repelled 11 enemy attacks. Three more clashes are still ongoing. The enemy also carried out eight airstrikes, dropping 20 KABs, and launched 214 shelling attacks, including seven with multiple launch rocket systems.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and Lyptsi seven times; two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, enemy units conducted three assault operations, attempting to break through Ukraine's defense lines near Holubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian positions 17 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Nadiia, Ridkodub, Kolodyazi, Zelena Dolyna, and Torske. Currently, Ukrainian defenders are repelling four enemy attacks.
Currently, the Defense Forces are repelling enemy offensive actions in the areas of Verkhniokamianske and Hryhorivka in the Siversk direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, seven clashes have been recorded so far, with enemy units attempting to advance towards Stupochky and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked Defense Forces positions 13 times. The enemy concentrated their offensive efforts near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and towards Oleksandro-Kalynove and Yablunivka. Two clashes are currently ongoing.
Since the beginning of this day, in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops have attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 40 times near the settlements of Poltavka, Myrne, Koptieve, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka. Fighting continues in ten locations.
The Defense Forces are holding back enemy assaults; the enemy is suffering significant losses. Today, 216 soldiers were eliminated in this direction, 145 of them irreversibly.
Also, six vehicles, 15 motorcycles, a quad bike, five unmanned aerial vehicles, a satellite communications terminal, four antennas, and nine unmanned aerial vehicle control points were destroyed.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian units repelled 11 enemy attacks near the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Vilne Pole, Perebudova, and Shevchenko; one more clash is ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attempted one attack near Malynivka but was repelled.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian forces tried to advance toward Novoandriivka but failed.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful offensive attempts, suffered losses, and retreated.
"The situation in other directions has not changed significantly," the General Staff noted.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine today honored the warriors of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 79th Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine
Earlier today, the General Staff of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost over one million troops.
In particular, just in the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost nearly 1,000 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one tank, six armored combat vehicles, 58 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment yesterday.
Ukrainian military officials updated the battle maps on the front lines earlier this morning.
