Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of June 25

According to the General Staff, Russian troops launched three missile strikes and 64 airstrikes. The enemy used nine missiles and dropped 118 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, Russian forces shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 6,338 times, including 106 strikes with MLRS. The drone component was also extremely active - 3,943 enemy attack UAVs were recorded in a single day.

Airstrikes by the aggressor were carried out in the following populated areas:

• Hremyach - Chernihiv region;
• Vovchanski Khutory, Artilne, Zybyne - Kharkiv region;
• Popiv Yar - Donetsk region;
• Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Kamianske, Novooleksandrivka, Novopavlivka, Stepnohirsk – Zaporizhzhia region;
• Odradokamianka – Kherson region.
• In response, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery successfully struck at least eight areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment were concentrated.

Furthermore, four artillery systems, two UAV control points, an ammunition depot, and one Russian army radar station were destroyed.

Frontline situation

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks. The enemy carried out ten airstrikes using 16 guided aerial bombs and fired 189 times, including five with MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, eight enemy attacks were recorded near Vovchansk and Kamianka.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled five Russian attacks. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhliakivka, Zelenyi Hai, and toward Pishchane and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, the situation remains tense - 18 enemy attacks were recorded in one day. Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defense lines near Kolodiazi, Torske, Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna, Shandryholove, Hrekivka, and Druzheliubivka.

In the Siversk direction, five enemy assaults were recorded in the areas of Hryhorivka and Ivano-Darivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops attacked eight times, particularly near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and toward Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, 15 enemy attacks were recorded in the areas of Toretsk, Nelipivka, Rusyn Yar, and Yablunivka.

The highest enemy activity was observed in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian troops repelled 65 Russian assaults near the settlements of Sribne, Bohdanivka, Novoserhiivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Malynivka, Myrne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Chuhuieve, Serhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Kotliarivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne, and toward Muravka, Myrnohrad, Poltavka, and Volodymyrivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian forces launched 14 attacks near the settlements of Bahatyr, Zelene Pole, Vesele, Novosilka, Shevchenko, Vilne Pole, and toward Novopil, Zaporizhzhia, and Komar.

In the Hulyaipole direction, supported by aviation, Russian troops launched one attack near Malynivka - Ukrainian defenders repelled it.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces halted the enemy's advance near Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovske direction, three Russian assaults on Ukraine's Defense Forces positions were recorded.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there were no signs of enemy offensive group formations.

Russian losses in the war

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost over one million troops.

In particular, over the past day, Russian army losses amounted to 950 soldiers. Ukrainian forces also destroyed one enemy tank, six armored fighting vehicles, 58 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.

President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier stated that Russia is keeping 695,000 of its soldiers in Ukraine. In addition, another 52,000 enemy troops are stationed on Russian territory across from Kharkiv and Sumy.
