Over the past day, June 13, there were 175 combat engagements along the front line. The heaviest enemy activity was seen in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Today, Russia launched one missile strike and 51 airstrikes, using four missiles and 85 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 975 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,703 attacks on our military positions and civilian settlements," the General Staff reported.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to break through to Ukrainian defensive positions five times near Vovchansk, Zapadne, and Kamianka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army attempted six assaults on Defense Forces positions near Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and toward Novoplatonivka. Fighting is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Serhiivka, Lypove, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and Hryhorivka. Four combat engagements are still underway.

In the Pivnichnyi direction, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy assaults as Russian forces tried to advance toward Serebrianka. Three clashes are ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, nine enemy assaults were halted. Russian forces attacked near the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Kurdiumivka, and toward Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, fighting continues in four separate locations. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 enemy attacks near Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalyneve, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army launched 44 attacks on Defense Forces positions throughout the day in the areas of Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Novosergiivka, Udachne, Orikhove, and Oleksiivka. Forty-two of those attacks were repelled, with two combat engagements still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, Russian forces lost 287 personnel killed and wounded today in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian troops destroyed nine vehicles, three UAVs, 18 motorcycles, two electronic warfare systems, a communications antenna, two satellite communication terminals, and one shelter. Ukrainian defenders also struck two artillery systems, the General Staff reported.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks near the settlements of Odradne, Skudne, Vesele, Burlatske, Novosilka, and Zelene Pole. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy assault near the area of Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled an enemy assault near Nesteryanka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the aggressor made one unsuccessful attempt to advance near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 29 enemy attacks throughout the day. One engagement is still ongoing.

Enemy losses on the front

On the morning of June 14, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian losses in the war against Ukraine have now surpassed 1 million troops. In the past 24 hours alone, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,220 enemy personnel.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 42 artillery systems, as well as multiple vehicles and a tank.
