Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine have already exceeded 1 million troops. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated another 1,220 Russian troops, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 13, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 1,001,560 (+1,220) Russian troops were eliminated
  • tanks - 10,934 (+1)
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 22,791 (+5)
  • artillery systems - 29,105 (+42)
  • MLRS - 1,416 (+3)
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1,184
  • aircraft - 416
  • helicopters - 337
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 40,507 (+72)
  • cruise missiles - 3,337
  • warships/boats - 28
  • submarines - 1
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 51,821 (+106)
  • special equipment - 3,914.

On June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted a historic operation Spiderweb. It was prepared for over a year and a half, and four Russian airfields were attacked.

As part of the operation, drones targeted 41 Russian strategic aircraft, including the A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22M3, and Tu-160. This accounts for approximately one-third of Russia's strategic cruise missile carriers.

Last week, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down a Russian Su-35 fighter jet in the Kursk region.
