Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of April 10

Along the entire front line, 125 combat engagements have occurred since the start of the day. The Defense Forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the Russian army's plans for an offensive and exhausting their combat potential, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff, the enemy launched one missile strike and 77 airstrikes, using one missile and dropping 114 KAB bombs. Additionally, they conducted 931 kamikaze drone attacks and 4,218 artillery shellings of our forces' positions.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, our forces repelled four enemy attacks near Vovchansk. The aggressor also launched an airstrike on the areas of the settlements of Udy and Kozacha Lopan.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched five attacks on our fortifications near Nova Kruhlivka, Pishchane, and the area of Zahryzove. Our defenders successfully repelled two attacks while three combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched 13 assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Nadiya, Nove, and Yampolivka and in the directions of Torske, Dronivka, Hrekivka, Olhivka, Katerynivka, and Novomykhailivka. Six combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled five enemy attacks today. Occupation units attempted to advance towards Hryhorivka and in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske. Two battles are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped three enemy attacks near Bila Hora and Kurdiumivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russian army launched 19 assaults on our defenders' positions towards Druzhba and in the area of Toretsk. All attacks were repelled.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 42 assaults. The greatest activity was observed in the directions of Romanyvka, Oleksandrople, Serhiivka, Kotlyarivka, as well as near Kalynove, Sribne, Tarasivka, Sukha Balka, Valentynivka, Yelyzavitivka, Lysivka, Zviriv, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Bohdanivka. Ten combat engagements are ongoing. The enemy also launched airstrikes on the area of Hrodivka.
According to preliminary estimates, in this direction, our forces eliminated 92 and wounded 96 Russian soldiers, destroyed 10 vehicles, five motorcycles, four quad bikes, the Yenot radar station and a UAV antenna, and significantly damaged a 152mm self-propelled howitzer and two mortars.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through twice near Kostyantynopil and in the direction of Bahatyr but was unsuccessful.
In the Huliaipole direction, near Pryvillya, Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attacks. The settlements of Novodaryvka, Huliaipole, and Zaliznychne were struck by guided bombs and unguided rockets.
In the Orikhiv direction, the settlements of Shcherbaky and Pavlivka were hit by unguided aerial rockets.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out two failed attacks towards our defenders' positions.
In the Kursk direction, 22 combat engagements were recorded since the beginning of the day. Additionally, the enemy launched 40 airstrikes, using 54 guided bombs, and carried out 305 artillery shellings, including 12 from multiple rocket launchers (MLRS).
No significant changes in the situation were observed on other fronts.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian army losses amounted to 1,420 soldiers. Additionally, yesterday, the Defense Forces destroyed 3 tanks, 12 armored fighting vehicles, 70 artillery systems, 105 drones, and other enemy equipment.
