As of Thursday morning, April 10, Russian losses have reached 929,000 troops since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Also, 3,145 missiles were shot down, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to April 10, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 929,000 (+1,420) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 10,579 (+3);
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 22,033 (+12);
  • artillery systems - 25,982 (+70);
  • MLRS - 1,359;
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1,127;
  • aircraft - 370;
  • helicopters - 335;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 32,078 (+105);
  • cruise missiles - 3,145;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 43,514 (+169);
  • special equipment - 3,796 (+4).

Situation at front

As of the evening of April 9, 54 combat engagements took place at the front. Russian occupants are focusing their main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction.

For their part, based on the report of the Institute for the Study of War, the Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced in the Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions.

Meanwhile, according to analysts, the Russian invaders are advancing near Kupiansk, Lyman, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as near the border between the Sumy and Kursk regions.
