Over the past day, October 31, 170 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The largest number of combat engagements was recorded in the Kurakhove sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a missile troop and artillery unit and 9 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment of the Russian invaders,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine writes.

Sectors

In the Kharkiv sector, Russia attacked 3 times near the settlements of Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russia attacked 15 times over the last day. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, and other locations.

In the Lyman sector, the Russians attacked 21 times. They tried to advance near Katerynivka, Stepove, Hrekivka, Terny, and in the Serebrianske forest.

In the Kramatorsk sector, 1 firefight was registered in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russia attacked 3 times near Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 35 Russian attacks were repelled in the areas of Promin, Lysivka, and Vyshneve.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russia attacked 60 times. Russians were most actively trying to advance in the areas of Antonivka and Yelyzavetivka.

5 Russian attacks were repelled in the Vremivka sector. Russians actively used attack and bombing aircraft.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russia attacked twice in the direction of Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russia attacked 4 times.

Russia's losses in the war

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 696,000 personnel. Over the past day alone, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,460 Russian troops and destroyed 6 tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 26 artillery systems, and more.
