Over the last day, from October 31 to November 1, the Russians lost 1,460 soldiers, 26 artillery systems, and more than 70 vehicles at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to November 1, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 696,410 (+1,460) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,162 (+6);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 18,470 (+20);
  • artillery systems - 20,039 (+26);
  • MLRS - 1244 (+1);
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 994;
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 329;
  • UAVs operational-tactical level - 18,088 (+25);
  • cruise missiles - 2,628 (+1);
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 28,038 (+77);
  • special equipment - 3,579 (+9).

Situation at front and Russian shelling

According to the ISW, the Ukrainian Defense Forces recaptured positions near Kurakhove, but the Russians succeeded in 4 directions.

Meanwhile, the Russian military began shelling Ukraine with more deadly Shahed drones.

At night, Russia struck Kharkiv with guided bombs.

The night before, the Russian invaders shelled a fire station in Odesa. Rescuers were injured.
