Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 27

Over the last day, September 26, 187 combat engagements occurred in the frontline. The situation was the most intense in the Pokrovsk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 4 strikes on the areas where Russian personnel and weapons were concentrated,” the General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, 3 firefights took place near Starytsia, Tykhe, and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, 20 firefights took place. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova, Stelmakhivka, and Kolisnykivka.
In the Lyman sector, Russia attacked 15 times near Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove, and Torske.
In the Siversk sector, 4 combat engagements took place in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 10 Russian attacks near Minkivka, Hryhorivka and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, 18 battles took place, in particular, near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 42 Russian attacks were repelled. The highest concentration of Russian attacks was near Selydove and Marynivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 36 Russian attacks near Tsukuryno, Zhelanne Druhe, Heorhiivka, and beyond.
In the Vremivka sector, Russian invaders conducted 5 offensives near Vodiane, Katerynivka, and Bohoiavlenka.
3 firefights took place in the Orikhiv sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks near Robotyno.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russians were also defeated, attacking the defensive lines of our units twice.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1,370 Russian troops, 21 tanks, 48 armored combat vehicles, 58 artillery systems, and more.
Recently, Ukrainian soldiers captured more than a dozen Russian servicemen in the Kursk region. After 5 days of fierce fighting, the Russian occupiers raised the white flag.
