Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 18

On September 17, 194 combat engagements took place on the frontline line. Half of the combat engagements were recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, according to the General Stuff of the Armed Forces General Staff of Ukraine.
"Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 5 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and weapons, destroyed one multiple rocket launcher system, three control points, and a Russian ammunition depot," the General Staff writes.
Sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, one combat engagement was recorded near the town of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian proxies attacked 13 times near Synkivka, Novoosynove, Kruhliakivka, Andriivka, Kolisnykivka, Petropavlivka, and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, 14 Russian attacks were repelled near Cherneshchyna, Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Torske, and Nevske.
2 Russian attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Vyimka were repelled in the Siversk sector.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians attacked 10 times near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Klishchiivka, and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, Russia attacked 15 times near Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Dachne, and Nelipivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 51 Russian assault and offensive attacks towards the settlements of Hrodivka, Novotoretske, Novohrodivka, Mykolaivka, Ukrainsk, Oleksandropol, Vozdvyzhenka, Marynivka and Zelene Pole were repelled. The highest concentration of Russian attacks was near Hrodivka and Novohrodivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, 49 Russian attacks were repelled in the direction of Tsykyryne, Zhelannyi Pershyi, Hirnyk, Katerynivka, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Vremivka sector, Russians attacked 6 times near Vuhledar and Novoukrainka.
In the Huliaipole sector, Russia attacked twice in the area of Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, 8 combat engagements took place near Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, and Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the Russians attacked 4 times.
