Russia has intensified its offensives on several fronts. It is using air bombs and manpower to try to break through Ukraine's defense, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the day, the greatest activity has been observed in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kharkiv directions. There, units of the Defense Forces are holding back Russia's offensive and responding firmly to their attempts to advance.

Today, the number of combat engagements has increased to almost a hundred, with 99 recorded so far.

The Russian forces are trying to storm Chasiv Yar and have become more active near New York.

Situation at the frontlines

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacks with the support of aviation, having already launched six air strikes with guided bombs. The number of combat engagements has increased to 15 since the beginning of the day. The Russian forces concentrated all their efforts in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. They attacked in small groups, up to the motorized rifle unit. Currently, there is one battle near Hlyboke, all other enemy attacks have been stopped. The losses of the enemy are being clarified.

The intensity of the Russian assault actions in the Kupiansk direction has increased. The enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times. In particular, near Synkivka, Andriivka and Stelmakhivka. Fighting is still ongoing in two locations near Stelmakhivka. Russians attacked Synkivka with unguided missiles from army aircraft.

In the Lyman direction, six enemy attacks were registered since the beginning of the day, half of them were successfully repelled by Ukrainian troops. Firefights continue near Torske and Makiivka.

In the Siversk direction, the Russian army continues to try to improve the tactical situation near Spirne, Vyimka, Fedorivka and Verkhniokamianske. The number of combat engagements increased to five today. Two attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops, three are still ongoing. Russia dropped a guided bomb in the vicinity of Dobropillia.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian forces are storming Chasiv Yar with the support of aviation - they used three guided bombs. Two more attacks near Andriivka and Novomarkove were repelled.

In the Toretsk direction, the number of enemy attacks increased to 17. The enemy is concentrating its efforts towards Pivnichne and New York. Fighting continues. The Russian forces bombed Toretsk and Pivnichne - they carried out three air strikes.

The enemy is active in the Pokrovsk direction today. To date, 21 combat engagements have been registered. Four of them are still ongoing near Novooleksandrivka and Karlivka. The Russian forces fired five times at the areas of Oleksandropol and Umanske with unguided aerial missiles.

Fighting continues in two locations near Krasnohorivka. In addition, the enemy attacked in the areas of Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka in the Kurakhove direction. According to the updated information, a total of 12 attacks by the Russian army were registered in this direction today.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy attacked near Kostiantynivka twice. They also attacked Katerynivka with six guided bombs and the Urozhaine area with unguided aerial missiles twice.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy has intensified its attacks, conducting eight attacks in the areas of Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka. In addition, the Russian army launched about a hundred unguided aerial missiles in the directions of Huliaipole, Lobkove, Rivnopole, Kamianske and Piatykhatky.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, at Ukrainian footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro, the Russian army unsuccessfully tried to push Ukrainian soldiers from their positions twice.

In other directions, the situation did not change significantly.

Over the last day, Russia lost 1110 soldiers, one air defense system and one MLRS in the war in Ukraine.
