As of the beginning of the day on June 19, 42 combat engagements have been registered on the frontline. The situation is tense in the Lyman and Kurakhove sectors, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Since the beginning of this day, 42 combat engagements have already taken place. Russia launched six air strikes with 12 drones, used 41 kamikaze drones, and fired more than 600 rounds of fire at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine writes.

Sectors

In the Kharkiv sector, Russia tried to attack near the village of Lyptsi. Fighting continues in the area of Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, 4 battles are taking place near Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, and Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russia attacked five times near Hrekivka, Nevske, and Terny. The situation is tense. Combat actions are ongoing.

9 firefights have already taken place in the Kramatorsk sector. Russia's attacks were repelled near Novyi and Klishchiivka. In particular, seven combat engagements continue in the areas of Kalynivka, Novyi, and Ivanivske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russia tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 13 times near Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Sokil, and Novoselivka Persha. 5 combat engagements are currently ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russia tried to attack near Paraskoviivka. The situation is currently tense in the area of Krasnohorivka, where three firefights are ongoing.

In the Vremivka sector, Russia tried to attack near Rivnopil. Another Russian attack is underway near Urozhaine.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russians tried to attack the area of Mala Tokmachka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russia tried to push Ukrainian troops back from the left bank of the Dnipro without success.

"Russia did not conduct active hostilities in other sectors. The situation remains unchanged," the General Staff adds.

Russia's losses in war against Ukraine

Over the past day, June 18, according to the General Staff, the Ukrainian Defense Forces killed another 1130 Russian troops. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war, Russia's losses in manpower have amounted to 529,750 troops. In particular, yesterday were destroyed:

  • 10 tanks;
  • 12 armored combat vehicles;
  • 48 artillery systems.
